THE CONCEPT: “The main idea for Lapel was to mix fashion and design. During our research, we realized that the lapel of a coat or shirt, which wraps the neck, looked suitable to be transferred and adapted to an armchair that, likewise, formally embraces the body,” say designers Busetti Garuti Redaelli. “The final result has been this eye-catching shape of arms and backrest. This element brings great personality and presence to make “Lapel” stand out among outdoor furnishings on the market. Furthermore, this shape allows an easy grip to lift and move the chair.”
